It's Okay to Not Be Okay TV Series

The drama revolves around a woman (Seo Ye-Ji) who works in the psychiatry department but is popular with a man (Kim Soo-Hyun) with antisocial personality disorder. This man in our series has no time for love.

The woman knows nothing about love. However, as they get to know each other, they grow closer and overcome difficulties through love. They begin to rediscover their lost souls and identities.

It's Okay to Not Be Okay Series Characters

Kim Soo-Hyun plays the character Moon Kang-Tae, who works in the psychiatry department on the drama. His job is to deal with events such as preventing patients from escaping or taking note of the patients' condition. He loses his family as a child.

That's why he focuses on making money, both to earn a living and to look after his older brother (Oh Jung-Se) who suffers from autism spectrum disorder from a young age. He has no hopes or big dreams that his life will be better in the future, as he is tired of the daily stress of his living conditions.

Seo Ye-Ji plays the character of Go Mun-Young, a popular children's book author, in the series. Her mother is a mysterious novelist and her father is a professor in the Korean language department. He suffers from antisocial personality disorder. Throughout his childhood, he is very bad at communicating with other people and has been bullied by other children.

Oh Jung-Se portrays the character of Moon Sang-Tae, an incredibly talented illustrator with autism. Moon is Kang-Tae (Kim Soo-Hyun) older brother and Kang-tae's biggest reason to live.

Park Gyu-Young plays the character of Nam Joo-Ri, a nurse in the TV series. She works with Moon Kang-Tae (Kim Soo-Hyun) in the Psychiatry department of the same hospital. Putting aside her life in Seoul, she returns to her hometown, where she finds a job as a nurse to take care of her sick mother. So Moon Kang-Tae is not just a colleague. A thin line is drawn between friendship and love.
